Rodney Little, D.V.M.

Dr. Rodney Little serves as the Medical Director and owner of Animal Hospital of Collin County, bringing over 15 years of veterinary experience to the practice. He earned his veterinary degree from Oklahoma State University and has dedicated his career to providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families.

Dr. Little takes pride in offering both general and specialized services, with particular interests in cardiology, diagnostic imaging, and surgery. His approach focuses on ensuring each patient receives thorough, thoughtful treatment tailored to their individual needs.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Little enjoys spending time outdoors camping and boating, playing golf and music, and creating lasting memories with his family and friends. His passion for both veterinary medicine and community connection is evident in every aspect of his work.

Jessie Brown, D.V.M.

Dr. Jessie Brown is an associate veterinarian at Animal Hospital of Collin County who brings a thoughtful, relationship-focused approach to veterinary care. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, she has quickly established herself as a compassionate and dedicated provider for both pets and their families.

Dr. Brown values building meaningful relationships with her patients and their owners, as she firmly believes that trust and communication are just as important as clinical skill. She strives to support pets and their families through every stage of life, providing both medical expertise and emotional support when it matters most. Her calm demeanor and genuine care make her a valued member of the veterinary team and a trusted partner in your pet’s health.

In her free time, Dr. Brown enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and being with her dogs.

Megan Collins, Practice Manager

Megan Collins serves as Practice Manager and brings over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field to Animal Hospital of Collin County. Her leadership ensures that both patients and clients receive a seamless, high-quality experience from start to finish.

Megan is passionate about creating an environment where pets feel safe and cared for, and where clients feel heard and valued. Behind the scenes, she focuses on building strong systems, supporting her team, and maintaining the smooth operation of the hospital so that the medical staff can focus on delivering exceptional care.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and spending meaningful time with her family. She is committed to both personal and professional growth, continuously striving to enhance the experience for every client and patient who walks through the door.

Brandy Slaton

Brandy Slaton, CSS

Brandy Slaton is a Client Service Supervisor with over 16 years of experience in the veterinary field. She is Fear Free Certified and has completed veterinary assistant training, bringing both expertise and empathy to her role. Brandy is dedicated to providing compassionate support for clients, especially during challenging or emotional moments. As one of the first faces clients see, she works to build trust and create a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. In her free time, Brandy enjoys reading and spending time caring for her pets.

Laurie Snider has been a valued member of the Animal Hospital of Collin County team since 2000, serving as a Customer Service Representative. Her long-standing dedication reflects her passion for both animals and the people who love them. Laurie takes pride in treating every patient as if they were her own and being a strong advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves. Her warmth and experience make her a trusted and familiar presence at the clinic. When she’s not at work, Laurie enjoys crafting, spending time with her family, and hosting gatherings with friends.

Darrian Parrish is a Customer Service Representative who helps create a welcoming and supportive experience for every client who walks through the door. With a background in biology and customer care, Darrian serves as a vital connection between clients and the medical team. He takes pride in building relationships with people as well as their pets. Outside of work, Darrian enjoys sports, music, spending time with his dogs, and baking.

Sara Ruyle, Technician Supervisor

Sara Danielle Ruyle is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and supervisor with 15 years of experience in the veterinary field. She received her training through Dallas College and plays a vital role in patient care and client communication at the hospital. Sara takes pride in treating every patient with the same level of care and compassion she would want for her own family. She is especially passionate about clear communication with clients, ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their pet’s care. When she’s not at work, Sara enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her children.

Kelsey Pickrell, LVT

Kelsey Pickrell is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with approximately nine years of experience in the veterinary field. She completed her education at Cedar Valley College and East Central University and holds certifications in veterinary CPR and recovery. Kelsey is dedicated to combining strong technical skills with compassionate care, and her passion for both animals and learning continues to drive her growth in the field. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her pets, crocheting, and relaxing with her favorite shows.

Valentina Nabulsi is a Kennel Technician who has been part of the veterinary field for approximately a year and a half. She studied at Collin College and is dedicated to ensuring pets feel comfortable and cared for during their time at the clinic. Valentina takes pride in helping patients feel at ease by providing extra attention, compassion, and care throughout their stay. Her gentle approach helps create a calm, welcoming environment for every pet. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, reading, exploring new coffee shops, and listening to podcasts.

Josué Cintrón is a Veterinary Assistant with over three years of experience in the veterinary field. He studied at Collin College and is certified in veterinary CPR, with plans to continue his education and become a licensed technician.
